Field notes Moderately branched tree ca. 5 m tall, growing on a steep embankment. Leaves dark green above, paler beneath, with large, circular lenticels along stem, petiole, below base of petiole, along petiolules and at their point of attachment to leaflet. Inflorescence axes pale green, with scattered elliptic lenticels, primary axis short, secondary axes 7 to 9, ascending to spreading, then pendant, buds pale green, corolla cream white, semi-translucent, apex pointed, flowers with calyx pale green, corolla cream white, somewhat translucent, disc pale yellow, post-receptive styles erect and appressed to one another, then spreading, immature fruits pale green, globose, with minute mealy indument, disc pale yellow, styles pale yellow green, stigmas turning brownish.
