| Field notes | A caesaspitose tree growing in Wet area, of 16-18 m high, 70 cm wide mond of 49-60 adventitious roots. The trunk 16-18 high, 13 cm in diameter at the base and 11 cm diameter at base 11cm in apically, hard, black. Crown of 9 leaves, 3.89 m long sheaths, green. Petiole 56 cm. long, pinnae 22 cm long, clusters inflorescences 1.65 m long, fruit green and white. Use: leaves and trunks for house construction. Name in spanish: Palma real |
