| Field notes | Liana palm, flagellate, to 6 m tall; stem 1 cm diam; lvs several along top of stem, w a flagella over each leaf; petiole 10 cm; blade 100 x 44 cm; pinnae 42 per side, regularly inserted; lamina flat; peduncle 15 cm; rachis 140 cm; 6 partial inflorescences, the branches with the rachillae inserted directly; rachillae 30 cm, 11 on each partial inflorescnece; fruits white, 7 mm diam, scaly. |
