| Field notes | Small palm shooting from the base, with adventitious roots visible above the ground. Stem 3-3.5 cm in diam. Leaves 5-7. Leaf sheaths 22-27 cm long, proximal 20-23 cm tubular, cream to drab colored with dense feltation. Petiole 8-10 cm, green abaxially, somewhat olive-green adaxially. Leaf rachis 110-120 cm long. Blade pinnate, irregularly splitting, pinnae distributed in one plane. Flowers fixed in Navashin. |
